About
This distinctive midcentury home was rebuilt from the foundation up in 2013 under the direction of JMK Architects, DiMeo Construction and CMars Engineering and featured in the June/July 2103 issue of New Haven Magazine. Truly a one-of-a-kind home! The floor plan is open and all of the spaces flood with light. Floor-to-ceiling windows eliminate the boundary from inside and out and allow the colors of the sky to reflect off the walls throughout the day. The cantilevered spaces give the home a tree-house feel. Sitting on any of the three decks, enjoy the sound of rushing water from the brook nearby. Exterior finishes were chosen to be maintenance-free: reclaimed zinc as the shingle siding and New Hampshire white cedar as the rain screen. High-efficiency mechanicals, LED lighting, closed cell insulation and generator ready, make this home perfect for the discerning buyer.
